Exhaust Upgrades
The exhaust system is one of the areas of any car that makes a
big difference to power, sound of the engine, and even
appearance.

Through our Volkswagen Racing
developments over the past 18 months, we have developed an
optimised exhaust system for the Scirocco, to cover all models:
the 1.4 and 2.0 TSI, TDI and just released - the fantastic new
R.
The VWR Exhausts are available as either a
Rear
Section
only, which replaces the standard
back box of your car, or the
Full
System which replaces the complete standard exhaust
from the manifold (or turbo) to the rear tailpipes, including
replacement catalytic converter to replace the restrictive
standard unit.

For most standard and lightly-modified road cars, the
Rear System is all that is ever required. However
for those seeking to get higher power outputs than the
VWR Stage 1
Power Upgrades offer, the Front System will
need to be fitted as well - in our tests, the addition
of the front system (with its high flow catalyst) has
made a 17bhp difference on a 250bhp Golf GTI with no
other changes made. This illustrates well the
difference that it makes!
