Manufactured from multiple layers of open-cell polyurethane foam, the VWR panel filter is a direct replacement for the standard restrictive paper air filter element.

Fitting is simple - the VWR Panel Filter just fits directly into the airbox, replacing the standard one.  There is fitment for all Sciroccos: 2.0 TSI, the 1.4 TSI and 2.0 TDI engines, plus the new R model.

The filter allows 30% more airflow into the turbocharger, removing the restrictions and allowing the engine to breathe better.

Our tests have shown that the fitment of the VWR panel filter can deliver an additional 15NM of torque on a Scirocco 2.0TSI, thus really making a difference to the feeling of mid-range power of the car.

This complements the Volkswagen Racing Power Upgrade, together with the VWR Exhaust Rear Section.

This is a 'lifetime' filter, so never needs replacement in normal service.
