VWR ClubSport Circuit Adjustable Coilover Suspension Kit

Our Clubsport coilover monotube suspension kit is for serious road and track use. Effectively, this is one stage below full race, meaning a stiff ride quality but hugely effective for track day cars.

For those who use their car on track, and want a stiffer ride quality than the standard car, we have developed a truly unique and highly effective, 2 way adjustable coil-over suspension kit for Golf, Scirocco and the other VWG cars on this platform.

The TrackSport Coilover suspension system replaces the entire standard front damper and spring with a high quality, motorsport orientated unit with much more sophisticated valving inside the dampers.
The result is a significantly stiffer suspension, and a transformation on fast roads and track. The stiffer springing rate combines with the adjustable damping, which can be varied in both bump and rebound to tailor your suspension to your driving style and how you use your car.
Although the VWR TrackSport Kit is a significantly tauter set up than the standard car, and stiffer than the VWR Street Coilover Suspension kit, it remains beautifully controlled for the keen driver, with no float or bounce whatsoever at high speed. A good way to describe it is to compare with a Porsche 911 GT3 versus a regular 911.

Another very significant advantage of a coilover set up is that it allows full adjustment of ride height, using a simple threaded spring perch on the threaded body of the damper. This allows the car to run at your chosen height, from standard clearance down to full race height, whilst keeping the same spring length whatever height you set it at.
For information, the VWR TrackSport Coilover suspension kit is an altogether stiffer set up than the VWR RoadSport Coilover kit, with adjustable damping rates for both bump and rebound. It’s ideal for the more track-orientated car. Please feel free to ask us for advice on choosing between the two.

The VWR Street Sport Coilover suspension kit is available for 2 and 4 wheel drive cars on the Golf/Scirocco platform.

We will provide you with our suggested suspension adjustment settings based on your planned usage of the car, which will act as our recommendation if you want to ‘fit and forget’, or as a good starting point if you prefer to find your own settings.

If fitted in the Volkswagen Racing workshop, we will perform a full set up, with corner weight adjustment to balance the car, plus full geometry setting.  This is a very important aspect of fitting a specialist kit like this, and we recommend that if fitted elsewhere you check that your workshop will do this.

Made from stainless steel to avoid corrosion from the highest quality components, the VWR TrackSport Kit has powder-coated blue springs. The VWR Anti Roll Bars are highly recommended with this kit too.

This kit is compatible with cars fitted with ACC – although the dampers loose the switchability of the standard dampers, and an additional electronic box is required at extra cost in order not to generate fault codes in the car.
